We had a Duets Recital this spring that was a lot of fun - kids made new friends, and learned to listen to each other & work together as a team, while making great music together ! That's what music is all about :-)
Busted! rhythm game idea I learned from Pinterest - draw rhythms onto popsicle sticks, draw "BUSTED!" on one of them, put them in a jar, and then pick one out at a time & clap/play that rhythm until someone gets "BUSTED!" My kids love this.
CDEFG bracelets (after playing Go-Fish cards, and mastering CDEFG, give your kids a colorful achievement bracelet!)
Bring your music collection into the piano studio and have your students explore!
Fun with skips and steps!
Felt-board for learning notes - all you need is 1 foam board, velcro, felt, and tacky glue! (All available at Michaels)
